Dr. Hankenson grew up in Clay Center, Kansas and received a BA in Life Science at Kansas State University. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry in 1996 at the University of Houston, College of Optometry. Dr. Hankenson is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Colorado Optometric Association.
He resides in Monument with his wife, Donna and their five children. Dr. Hankenson enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, mountain climbing, and traveling.
